One of the biggest problems for growth in the IT realm is presently the lacking option for IT users to handle information flexibly but at the same time to truly protect vital information.
PCs and nets are uncertain ground. (And there is many to lament about it detrimentally.) It must be possible for the user to make secure what he wants to keep personal. He should be able to transfer his inner most secrets to any destination in perfect integrity i.e. unmodified.
What is needed for this purpose is a set of small low cost items like Smart Cards and Card Terminals that can be tailored to the individual's wishes.
Of course, these must perform in any random meaningful combination no matter who is the manufacturer or developer. A provider who is competent in the PC- as well as in the Smart Card/ Card Terminal world can achieve that.
SEFIROT GmbH - an IT security company
	It was founded in spring 1999 and has reached rapidly the level of state-of-the-art technology if not a leading position in IT security.
	The Team SEFIROT GmbH has emerged from research and development areas of the RWTH Aachen and the TU Berlin respectively; it comprises today of project experienced, enthusiastic software developers and system engineers.

SEFIROT Security Framework Architecture

	Thus, SEFIROT GmbH has developed a conclusive, highly adaptive security architecture. Central components of this architecture are a.o. standard conformant test suites, SDKs, a signature interface for qualified electronic signatures, the SEFIROT GmbH PKCS#11 framework as well as a complete adoption of the PC/SC standards (Interoperability Specification for Integrated Circuit Cards and Personal Computer Systems) in order to flexibly tie in Smart Cards and readers of different manufacturers.

	Based upon this security architecture and its permanent update a high tech product suite has emerged that the market did not produce until now. The sovereign security technology enables secure, interoperable communication over almost all OS platforms and open networks.
Products
	SEFIROT's CardSecurity modules for tailor-made employment of Smart Cards teaming with the three most used mailers: Microsoft^® Outlook^® Express, Outlook^®, Netscape^® Messenger and the main Browsers, Microsoft^® Internet Explorer and Netscape^® Communicator.
	SEFIROT signature- and verification module, also signature interface as SDK:
	Smart Card based signature- and verification module for generation and verification of signature act conformant, electronic signatures. I.e. the signature module will support the electronic signature from the simple to the proven, legally established qualified electronic signature. The signature interface is configured as SDK as well in order to enable the work flow oriented integration of the legally established signature function into various application environments; e.g.
	hospital information systems, medical care administration systems, pharmacy workstation with management functions for the electronic prescription, legally binding document exchange in Online Courts.
	SEFIROT Smart Card Logon Module for secure, Smart Card based access to Microsoft^® and Unix computers.
	SEFIROT trust center services; management modules for adequate handling of PKI, certificates, personalization and Smart Card initialization.
Consulting services
	Security products may be valuable in principle - more so if they can be inserted into random application environments. They will be of high importance if they can be employed without further ado i.e. without new expenditures and on familiar ways.
