SEFIROT Competence Center

The SEFIROT competence center is a reference center to
develop the technical outfit of online courts as well as to provide
customers of the court and the team with high value security products
and services. |

All technologies comprising a functioning Online Court will be joined
at the competence center. |
|
Security products and services shaped to the need of the user |
|
Conceiving and developing high value, secure application programs for
customers, for staff and personnel running the court. The application
programs will integrate security components and services like |

signature-, verification-, encryption- modules, |
|
|
services for certificates, for receipts, |
|
|
cryptography modules for integrated, Smart Card based mail services, |
|
|
Smart Card LogOn modules. |
|
All application programs that have been developed for the different client
systems figure in the context of the SEFIROT Security Framework. Important
architectural concepts, standards and PKI services are part of this framework.
Not only multiple applications can be addressed within the framework
architecture, the framework supports also different Smart Cards
and card terminals of widely differing
technical design. |

Customers, staffs and personnel running the court will be informed by the
competence center with respect to admissible products;
they can also acquire highly specialized product packages
from the competence center. |
|
All components chosen will be subjected to intense tests
before admission. Admissible components are those that |
|
|
fulfil the security requirements of the Online Court, that |
|
|
fulfil the high quality requirements of SEFIROT GmbH as
far as standard conformance, interoperability and practicability are concerned |
|
|
can seamlessly function within the total service infrastructure. |

Customers acquiring security products via the
competence center can rely on recommended and admissible products having
passed intense tests independently from manufacturer announcements. These
are the tests that e.g. card readers of different manufacturers will be
subjected to: |

recommended products and offer powerful product packages.

Reference system for building PKI- based flexible,
highly secure workflow systems |
|
In the context of the International Online Court SEFIROT GmbH will
develop a generalized information system encompassing specialized
trust center services and structures for online courts. |
|
System design is complete. It maps onto the architecture national and
international law for court operation as well as the binding border
crossing information exchange included. Online arbitration and mediation
organisations working on the basis of this architecture can be run
internationally successful. |
|
The technical outfit, the system components and interfaces of the
Online arbitration and mediation organisation will result from the
generalised information system. |
|
Thus the generalized information system will become
the reference system for forming and equipping Online Courts.
But not only for these. |

The reference system will prove its usefulness whenever classified
electronic documents shall be communicated/ administered/ processed/
automate schedule controlled via non-secure networks |
|
|
in a legally binding fashion, |
|
|
with the highest degree of evidence, and |
|
|
protected against all kind of manipulation; |
|
e.g. when issuing and sending electronic
administration acts, or when legal cases are concluded. |
|
User of the system will
not only be the online court personnel per se but also institutes in the
administrative, financial, assurance and health area. |
